Montana Mountain Elopement . Redlodge, Montana .

Montana is so much more beautiful than people give it credit for, and it has been a popular place for elopements and intimate weddings lately! It really is a perfect place to take friends and family, say I-do, and explore some of the best nature that the country had to offer. Within Montana you can find glaciers, mountains, flower fields, massive lakes, and tall trees. Not to mention the two national parks that reside within the state—Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. You can spend a couple weeks just exploring everything the state has to offer!

This particular Montana elopement took place near Redlodge, a quaint mountain town just an hour from Yellowstone National Park. This area has amazing mountain passes, rivers for fly fishing, and wildlife. Northern Montana is similar, but with much larger mountains and glaciers nearby (check out a Northern Montana elopement here)

We spent two days with Matt & Erin exploring the area and documenting their time there. Emilee took so many amazing photos that we had to break their gallery into two separate posts! This first post contains some favorite images from their ‘day-before’ session. They wanted to have some private moments captured of the two of them before the big day, so we explored the trees and mountain views near their cabin. It was seriously breathtaking.
