Black and White Themed Kansas City Wedding

Picking out wedding colors can be one of the most stressful choices at the beginning of wedding planning. A lot of the time couples are stuck between having to decide if they want to choose a theme that is classic or more on-trend. There are pros and cons to both options and really no wrong answer. At the end of the day, you should go with whatever gives you the most excitement!

For Aaron and Kayla, a classic black and white wedding theme was a perfect choice. They used the White Iron Ridge outside of Kansas City as their backdrop because of its all-white interior and used black and gold accents to bring together a classic and timeless vibe. The green and white florals installed by The Cottage Rose tied everything together perfectly. Kayla even decided to change out of her gorgeous first dress into a shorter, black and white mini dress and veil for the reception. It was such a fun look, and still matched the theme perfectly! The groom and groomsmen wore a classic all-black suit, while the bridesmaids stood out in chic soft gold tone dresses. As a wedding party, they looked totally modern and classic all at the same time, which was really the vibe of the entire wedding day!
