If you are looking for inspiration for a modern wedding, this is it! Look no further than Anna & Casey’s wedding day. Anna looked stunning in her boho wedding gown, cathedral length veil, and gold accessories. Casey rocked a custom navy suit with red stitching with his name embroidered on the inside paisley design. The groomsmen went classic in navy suits and the girls rocked a super fashion-forward vivid coral bridesmaid’s dress. Basically, they looked like they stepped out of a modern wedding magazine.

If this wedding can teach us anything, it’s that pink is in. Pink weddings can be modern and I was so stunned at how everything came together! Like holy cow, I never considered pink to be a trendy wedding color, but I think I can safely say I was wrong! If pink is your thing, take notes from this modern wedding on how to do the color right. The pink florals were probably my favorite part of the design and they seamlessly blended in, yet stood out at the same time. The pink pampas grass looked killer on the wedding arch and at the reception, and you can thank Kinflower company for all those amazing floral arrangements.

Speaking of the reception, don’t forget to scroll all the way down to catch some serious fire! No really, the pampas grass may have caught on fire due to some burning candles during the reception. Luckily, all the amazing vendors jumped into action to put out the flames and replace the head table before the wedding party arrived! Crisis averted, but caught on film, which makes it laughable now!

Of course, the gorgeous wedding venue (the Joslyn museum) lent to the modern look of the day. It was also supposed to be the reception venue but due to COVID restrictions, Anna & Casey had to move their reception last minute. It was disappointing for sure but ended up being just as beautiful at the country club thanks to some killer work done by Rachel J. Events. Rachel definitely knows how to bring a modern wedding look to life! I seriously recommend her to any Nebraska brides and grooms!

Everything on this day came together beautifully, and emotions ran high.
