Glacier National Park Elopement . Polebridge, Montna .
I think elopements are so beautiful. I love how intimate and intentional they are. Elopements are really all about you two and your love for one another! There are no rules to follow, no timeline to stick to, and not 1000 guests waiting and watching your every move. There is just something very relaxing about being with the one you love and having nothing else to worry about other than enjoying your day together.
Saraih & Parker feel the exact same way about elopements. Unfortunately, these two had planned to have a very intimate wedding when they got married a year ago. They just wanted the day to be focused on the two of them and their love for each other and Jesus. Through no fault of their own, the guest list grew to over 300 people. That was definitely not what they wanted but they decided to go through with the day anyway. Of course, it was such a beautiful wedding and they were happy to be surrounded by so many loved ones, but it just wasn’t what they had envisioned for their wedding.
Fast forward to a year later and they decided that they were going to “re-do” their wedding day and elope just like they wanted to do all along! So really, this session falls into a ‘vow-renewal’ category as well. I wanted to present it as an elopement though because that’s what these two wanted their day to feel like.
The beautiful backdrop of Glacier National Park provided these Texans with the perfect mountain views to say ‘I-do’ in! They got ready in a forest-lined area with their doggos and their super rad yellow camper van. That’s right! These two are so awesome that they travel the country in their van and get to see so many amazing things! You should check out their van adventures here.
We drove a little way to the cutest town of Polebridge, Montana for their vows and portraits. We were so incredibly lucky that the owners of Polebridge Mercantile let us use the land next to their adorable shop for the vows. Side note—this shop is legendary and is a must-see before entering Glacier National Park! They have the yummiest bear-claws and were kind enough to let Saraih & Parker pick some out as a wedding gift.
Overall this day was everything these two originally dreamed of and more. It was seriously beautiful.
