Sariah & Parker had the most epic vow renewal outside Glacier National Park in Montana (check it out here). The day before the renewal we all hung out in their renovated campervan and snapped pictures of them being the natural goofballs that they are! It was so fun to see them interact and be themselves so naturally in front of our cameras. That’s how taking pictures should be, just an opportunity to document how you are naturally; how you laugh, touch, hug, etc. It’s my favorite thing to witness when a couple just unfolds in front of our lenses.

Parker pointed out to us their well-loved bible that was covered in sticky notes and highlight marker. Instantly, I knew if they were comfortable enough with it, I wanted to document them reminiscing on their notes and favorite verses together. They were game for anything, so we pulled back, gave them some room, and let them do their thing. We captured such real and authentic moments that it was so beautifully emotional. The best part was watching them open certain sections and totally forgetting the polaroid pictures they had stuck in there to mark their places. Watching them rediscover those images reminded me why I love my job so much. I get to create those images for couples to have those emotions over and over again. Amazing, right?!
